The WCFOC is dedicated to reducing domestic violence and family conflict through advocacy, empowerment, violence prevention and intervention, services and education. At the event, professional and hobbyist potters donate 2,000+ hand made bowls. Each bowl symbolizes the empty place a victim leaves behind when escaping an abusive relationship. I met some wonderful people at this event and I was amazed to see how many volunteers contributed their time at the event.
