The Tubbs Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series is a snowshoe walk or race that happens at 7 locations in North America. The first Romp to Stomp events started in 2003 and since they the series has raised nearly 1 million dollars for Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. I was a volunteer at the event and helped with the t-shirt tent and the information booth. It was so cool to see everyone dressed up in pink and the amount of participants from all over the United States. One patron participated in every Romp to Stomp event in 2010! Now, that’s some mileage. It was excellent to see the community of Frisco, come together and raise money for such a wonderful cause. Thank you Suzanne for being such a great volunteer coordinator!
