The Excelsior Youth Center is a residential treatment program created in 1973, serving girls ages 11-18 with emotional and behavior difficulties. They are committed to the treatment and education of young females to enhance their successful reintegration into their families and their communities. I was in charge of greeting patrons at the event and helping with the silent auction. There were tons of great items at the silent auction and I had my eye on a few of them. It has been such an amazing experience working with organizations that help children and their families.
