Concerts for Kids Bowl A Thon

Concerts For Kids was founded on the belief that children are entitled to the best healthcare available and a quality education. For the past six years, Concerts For Kids has built strategic partnerships with organizations like Denver Children’s Home, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Denver Public Schools Foundation and various other children’s programs. Today Concerts For Kids helps to support more than 40 child‐focused organizations annually through its fundraising events and community service projects. In addition to the Annual Benefit Concert, Concerts For Kids hosts five ancillary, adult‐targeted e vents throughout the year.

I was extremely privileged to work with this organization at their annual Bowl-a-Thon. During the competition, I discovered that I was ambidextrous! The rules consisted of bowling with your opposite hand to “granny” style bowling. I am going to continue working with this amazing organization and help with their Community Day on May 22, 2010.
